Meaning "River Bank" in the Gurune dialect, it symbolizes a nurturing space for craftsmen and customers. Frafra basketry, inspired by savannah birds, is a centuries-old tradition in Ghana's Upper East Region. Made from Guinea grass straws through a meticulous handcrafting process, these vibrant, durable baskets serve various purposes, including shopping, decoration, and storage.
